Wilma Lentz

Wilma Lentz, an 90 year old native Arizonan, now living in Tucson, was an elementary school teacher for 35 years. As a child, she loved writing stories and poems which she has continued throughout her life. She wrote “Tommy’s Rainy Day Secret” in 1961, always intending to publish it. She finally did in 2024.
And she hasn't stopped. Her second book, "Buster, the Puppy with Two Tails," tells the story of a puppy who thinks he doesn't fit in because he looks different. He soon learns that he has a special purpose.
Her newest book, "Oseana and the Whale" is a story about the dangers of disobeying parents and boundaries mixed in with a possible romance all set in the beautiful underwater world of mermaids.

Like Buster, sometimes you might feel sad, left out, ignored or misunderstood because you look different from others. Maybe it’s something you don’t have. Maybe it’s something you have that others don’t. But don’t worry. Just like
Buster, we all can find our purpose in life and be happy just the way we are.
